INQUIRER - Remittances from overseas Filipinos in June totaled $1.8 billion, up
by 4.2 percent compared with June last year, the Bangko Sentral ng
Pilipinas announced Wednesday.
This brought remittances during the first half of the year to $10.13
billion, up 5.1 percent from remittances during the same period last
Year.
The biggest sources of remittances in the first half were the United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Japan, United Kingdom, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
